On the Other Side

On this side of heaven the sound of weeping fills
tha air, hearts are heavy with sorrow, spirits
weighted with care.
But on the other side of heaven, angles lift their
voices in song, as frineds and family gather,
to welcome our friend home.
While we comfort one another each asking the
question, "Why?" on the side of heaven there
is laughter that will never die.
Heaven seems so silent here, life is so fragile, joy is so rare.
But on the other side of heaven, souls rejoice in
God's embrace, and in his presence there is no sorrow,
On the other side of Hevaen's gates.

Death

Is it escaping from happiness
No, a call from God,
The very being that walks among the living
Death itself has no feelings
Is it a crime? No, just pain
That eats away at the soul
Death is hard and nothing but cruel
It takes away innocence from this world
Death tears people apart and bring others together
Many can see death from its short distance
While the other half goes on like it is never there
It's that hard to believe, but it's real
As real as can be...

Death and Life
It stalks the night
It stalks the day
It seeks out life
And whisks it away
It's known as death
And other things too
But it's all the same
What matters is you
How do you see it?
What does it mean?
It's best if you know
For death is unseen
It can take you at day
It can take you at night
Knowing death well
Can lend you some light
The passage to death
Is always unclear
And it's best to know
That you're very near
For death is at hand
It is for us all
Know its face well
So you don't stumble and fall
Now think hard on death
And know that it's near
And the meaning of life
Will be all too clear
And that is to live
For your heart's desire
Not to stumble or fall
But to burn with a fire
A fire for life
To live for each day
To reach for your dreams
No matter what people say
Life is a question
And death holds a clue
Reach not for the answer
For your life's not due
Live for the moment that counts
The moment and you
Now I'm all done
I've said what I'll say
Just remember one thing
Live for the day!

Life

Life is what you make it
So play your cards right
An opportunity, you should take it
Don't go down without a fight
It's a game you have to win
So play it like your last
Strive and don't give in
Don't repeat your past
Life is a lesson
You live and you learn
Breathing is a blessing
Respect you have to earn
So have fun and have a blast
'Cause the next day may just be your last
Life is what you make it...
and you made it beautiful...

Darkness in My Eyes

Where am I, - it's very dark
No lights, not bright not even a spark.
I'm scared and cold
Am I alive or dead
Am I just dreaming in my head
Will he come back as I sleep
Is he really gone or just for a week
Will I ever hear his laugh again
I am scared, cold and alone.
Can anyone hear me, can anyone hear
The tears of our young people
The tears of fear
I see darkness as I cry
The darkness I see in my eyes
Now as the sun rises
I start to see some light
The day has come, the night has left
I'm not alone and I'm with my friends
I start to smile and say good bye
For Mr. Lika is now in the sky

Stranger
Stranger sit high in the sky
as long as you don't forget
about a stranger he will never die.
Look close at that star, there he goes.
Just look at the way he flows.
Stranger, soar as high as you can
when you were here you stood so tall and so grand as the wind.
You're no longer a stranger in my eye
Whatever they say I don't care that is no lie.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there, I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glint on snow
I am the sunlight on the ripened grain
I am the gently falling autum rain
When you wake in the morning hush
I am the swift uplighting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight
I am the doft star light at night
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there, I do not sleep
