Job
Description: Working
as a CFY Help Desk Associate is a very rewarding and demanding
part-time job. Associates provide technical support to CFY
families and teachers over the telephone. No previous technical
experience is necessary. Prior to answering calls, Associates
receive two weeks of extensive training. That training includes
basic DOS, dialup networking, Windows 98 configurations, customer
service skills, building a computer from scratch and instruction
in the popular help desk software, Remedy. Please note that
this an Entry Level position and the rate of pay is
$6-$7/hr based on experience.
Qualifications:

is recruiting two Junior Web Design Interns for the summer
of 2003. Junior interns will be part of a team that develops
content for, builds, maintains, and evaluates the Community
Corner website (www.communitycorner.org).
This position is part-time (10 hours per week),
temporary (July 8 - August 15) and located at
CFY's mid-town Manhattan office. CFY will provide
Metro Cards for transportation to and from the office AND
a certificate valued at approximately $300 upon successful
completion of the program.
Job
Description: : CFY's Junior Web Design Inetrn will work
with CFY staff and a team of interns to:

Be
an important part of a real web design and production
team. |
|
2.
|
Maintain
the website by checking links and keeping them up to-date; |
| 3. |
Conduct
Internet research; |
| 4. |
Write
and/or illustrate web articles and web comic strips; and |
| 5. |
Build
basic web pages using Dreamweaver. |

Graduation from 8th grade by July 2003. |

Experience
with computers and the Internet: Basic keyboarding/typing
skills are required. |
