The artwork of Diane Davis enlivens the pages of the Community Corner website. Diane created all of the main images on the site.

Diane is a native of Illinois, but has been residing in the Bronx since she was a teen. She received a scholarship from Bob Blackburn's Printmaking Workshop and has been spending her time concentrating on etching and lithography.

Through her figurative paintings Diane often depicts her early childhood experiences and at other times the emotional ups and downs of everyday life through dance.

Diane's work has been included in many museum and gallery exhibits and is featured in various publications. You'll find more of her work at Diane's own website at in the following publications:

• Sunrise Dancers is included in Black New York Artists of the 20th Century, Selections from the Schomburg Collection (publisher the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture).
