I have a Latino background. I am the last child of my family. I have two brothers (Carlos, Mike) and one sister (Evelyn). My parents come from Peru, which is country in South America. I'm thirteen years old and my birthday is in October.
I live in the most divine neighborhood of Manhattan, which is El Barrio. El Barrio has a lot of Latino flavor in its environment. I have lived all my life in this neighborhood. Every day you can hear Latino music playing on the streets like Tito Puentes and Celia Cruz. You can enjoy the smell of rice and beans, fried chicken and other Latino flavors, passed down through many generations. In my lovely neighborhood there is a museum called El Museo De Barrio.
I started school at the age of 4. On the first day of school, I started crying for my mother because I didn't want to stay. But now I can realize that at school I gained my lifetime friends. After I graduated from sixth grade I went on to Junior High. My junior high was right on top of my elementary school. It was kind of weird being new at that school even though I had to go up there to deliver papers to the principal of the junior high. It was weird because, none of my friends were there. I made new friends at MIAVA. I spent two years in that school and then graduated from the eighth grade to enter high school.
I have a lot of hobbies. Some of my hobbies are drawing, writing, rapping,
doing stuff on the computers, and talking on the phone, shopping, hanging outside
with friends, and taking pictures. These hobbies come to me naturally than to
other kids my age. I have many hobbies and am hoping to get many more hobbies
in my lifetime.I do things on the Internet that most people do. I chat, play
games, do my homework, do research for my hobbies, I look for icons to go with
my changing style and to buy stuff.
