Is there a way to fit more onto my monitor screen?
  Click Start | Settings | Control Panel. Click on Display Settings. Next click the Settings tab, then move the Desktop Area arrow to 800x600 and 16 bit True Color or higher.

Sound:
* When I try to play a music file on the computer I don't hear any sound. How do I fix this?
  NOTE: CFY does not provide speakers.
1. Make sure you have the speakers connected to the correct port on the back of the computer. It's indicated as Out, Audio Out, Speaker, or with an arrow pointing out.
2. Then double-click the Volume Control Icon in the system tray next to the clock.
3. Make sure the Wave and Volume controls are not set to mute and are all the way up.
4. If you have powered speakers hooked up to the computer, make sure they are plugged into a power outlet and turned on.
 

 

 

 

 

 
   
Anti-Virus:
* I think I might have a virus on my computer. How can I check to see if I do, and how can I protec my computer from viruses in the future?
  You will have to use anti-virus software. You can use the free online virus scan HouseCall or purchase anti-virus software at any store that sells computer software. In addition, you can search Tucows.com for free anti-virus software or purchase McAfee or Norton for added protection.
