CFY has created the Tech Helper program to provide additional technical support at the school level. During a two-week summer training workshop, this program trains students to repair computers. Students who graduate from this workshop become CFY Tech Helpers who assist their school communities with computer problems. All CFY Tech Helpers are trained and supported by CFY’s professional staff. CFY offers the following three repair options: school repair, warehouse repair, or home visit.
If you are interested in becoming a Tech Helper you must be a current 7th grader going into the 8th grade next year. Applications are available in the spring. If you have questions please ask the Tech Helper at your school.
